Boil the water
Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat. -
Add the cloves
Drop in the whole cloves. Add the cinnamon stick or ginger if you’re using them. -
Simmer
Lower the heat and let the tea simmer for 5–7 minutes. This helps release the clove’s aroma and essential oils. -
Strain
Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup. -
Sweeten (optional)
Add honey if you like a touch of sweetness. Stir well and enjoy warm.
