Victor Osimhen has admitted that he was moved to tears during last night’s Champions League game against Liverpool
The superstar striker, who joined Galatasaray from Napoli on a permanent basis last summer, provided the assist for the only goal of the game as the Turkish side won 1-0 ahead of next week’s second leg at Anfield.
But it was a touching tribute from the crowd, rather than the result, that left him feeling emotional – as fans prepared a tifo which remembered Osimhen’s late mother
It read: "We are family, and family is everything."

Speaking in the tunnel following the game, the Nigerian number nine said: “When I came out of the tunnel and saw the choreography, I was overwhelmed. This club and these fans mean so much to me. That's why I fight for every ball until the last drop of blood. My path was meant to cross with Galatasaray. It's destiny.”
